Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:


  • Understand the SAP design for the corporation’s different business operating units and its processes including interfaces to other applications.
  • Provide SAP production support across different business units around the globe, specializing on the APO DP, SNP and PPDS functions.
  • Implement SAP projects and system changes using the corporate change management process.
  • Effectively work with a global team spanning multiple regions and multiple cross-functional team members and leaders.
  • Partner with business counterparts to find opportunities to innovate or improve our ERP solutions.
    Employ analytical thinking to gather and understand business requirements and translate those into functional specification documents.
    Apply critical thinking to understand the potential impact of system Change Management on existing functions to avoid business impact and incidents.
    Communicate changes to stakeholders and provide training on new functionalities.
    Support the strategy for the next generation ERP transformation.
    Learn and adopt emerging technologies that support the corporation’s IT transformation.
    Adhere to corporate policies and standard tools.


Required Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Management Information Systems (MIS), Computer Science, Engineering, Business or related areas required.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience as an SAP SCM APO Analyst
  • Specific experience with APO PPDS highly desirable.
  • Experience with Oil and Gas, or similar industry highly desirable.
  • Experience with Remedy or similar tool and processes desirable
  • Supports SAP ECC and related software
  • Good understanding of SAP production planning and product lifecycle management
  • Previous experience in operations support, project design and implementation especially in SAP PP/APO
  • Demonstrated ability to work with various business partners in identifying, analyzing and quickly resolving application issues. 
  • Solid foundation in Service Desk functions and related tools to resolve user related support calls
  • Strong analytical skills to resolve business problems, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, and coordinate technical assistance through partnerships with other Applications Management / IT organizations both internal and external
  • Depth of knowledge in Business Analysis; demonstrated ability to collect and understand business requirements, and translate them into alternatives and solutions that support successful deployments
  • Strong written and verbal skills; ability to interact professionally with a diverse group including peers, business partners, managers, and subject matter experts
  • Communicate clearly to all levels of management and across a culturally and geographically diverse environment.
  • Detail oriented with strong organizational skills; emphasis on self-starting, and multi-tasking with commitment to individual responsibility and accountability.
  • Demonstrate leadership, establish rapport and gain commitment from key stakeholders; successfully influence key decisions in support of strategic alternatives and transformational roadmaps.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to internal and external stakeholders, effectively facilitate cross-functional meetings, etc.
  • Ability to work within a global team and with external partners towards a common goal, agreed strategy and processes to successfully deliver safe and reliable results.
  • Proven ability to contribute both independently, as well as through others; Can work cross-functionally and has the ability to coordinate across a broad range of stakeholder groups.
  • Ability to facilitate group think, drive to deliver expected outcomes and hold others accountable for deliverables in their respective areas.
  • Ability to work with multiple cultures and nationalities is critical to this role.


Preferred Qualifications:


  • Experience in QM, EWM, and PM modules is a plus.
