Who We Are

Chevron is one of the world's leading integrated energy companies.

Offering some of the most dynamic career opportunities in the industry, Chevron Australia – headquartered in Perth – leads the development of the Gorgon and Wheatstone natural gas projects, and manages world-class operations and exploration activities.

As part of Chevron’s Horizons graduate development program, you’ll be part of Australia’s energy future working on projects that will deliver vital energy to Australia and the Asia-Pacific region for years to come.

Your Future as an Information Systems (IS) Graduate

Chevron Australia’s Information Systems (IS) team is a key enabler in the delivery of innovative and reliable applications, information and systems. The team is highly valued by functional project teams for its ability to maximise the benefit of their business processes.

In this role, you’ll gain experience in areas such as business analysis, project management, technical computing, information/data management and application support.

You could be supporting high performance computing, managing and modelling data solutions, developing secure networks to prevent and detect intrusion, or consulting with functional business areas to determine their IS requirements.

You will be given opportunities to stretch your technical breadth in all aspects of the Information Systems domain by being involved with the execution of key Information System's deliverables. Through involvement in operational or project assignments you will learn skills outside of your profession, which will challenge the way you look at problems and expose you to cross-functional and diverse teams.

Who We Are Looking For

We are looking for graduates with a Bachelor’s, Master’s or Doctorate degree in business information management or management information systems. Graduates with a passion for information technology, who have a degree in computer science will also be considered for this role.

The Horizons graduate development program is open to individuals who are due to complete their studies in 2017 or who have graduated in the last five years from the aforementioned disciplines and have less than five years’ relevant experience.

In return for these skills, attributes and experience, Chevron Australia will reward you with an exciting role, a competitive salary and a fantastic opportunity to develop your career with one of the world’s leading integrated energy companies.
