Chevron is accepting online applications for the position of Maintenance Planner (Offshore Planner). This permanent role will be based in Nakornsrithammarat but will be assigned offshore in Gulf of Thailand on a 21-day on 21-day off rotational basis.  The requisition number for this role is 230702.


Position Close Date: Monday September 11 2017. 

Offshore Planner is organized under Operations Planning and Logistics department to support planning process and execution performance in offshore operation


Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:


  • Coordinates and liaises with stakeholders (e.g. operations and maintenance, asset planners and supply chain management) to actively perform efficiency planning, scoping and scheduling performance under surface equipment reliability and integrity process (SERIP) standard process elements; work order prioritization (WOP), work oder management (WOM), planning and scheduling (P and S), inventory spare parts management (ISPM)
  • Participates and ensures all data input to computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) with accurately and perform CMMS data analysis for equipment failure and reliability incident
  • Supports and ensures all offshore task input into iPlan system, conduct 7 Day plan meeting with stakeholders. Finds opportunities to increase efficiencies i.e. more work time, less travel and operating cost
  • Supports 28 days plan for align plan between 7 days plan, 28 days plan, and Integrated offshore execution planning (iOEP) from operation planner
  • Supports crew boat optimization by align 7 days plan with boat route from crew boat planner
  • Supports offshore iWork Plus and serve as focal point for offshore.
  • Actively supports and ensures the relevant requirements of SERIP and OEP further stages are achieved
  • Ambassador of interim pipeline transportation agreement process to improve offshore plan and work efficiency


Required Qualifications:


  • Bachelor degree in Engineering (i.e. Mech, Instrument, Electrical, Industrial). A Candidate with a high vocational degree is acceptable if possessing related experiences (e.g. offshore operation work 10+ years)
  • Experience in Planning/Scheduling maintenance for 3+ years. Understanding of work process and relationship among production, maintenance, financial, inventory, purchasing, logistics in order to optimize resource usage will be advantage
  • Good attitude and willing to work on new challenging roles and responsibility
  • Good interpersonal relationship
  • Demonstrated Facilitation skills. Good command in both general and technical English communication
  • Able to use planning software package, MS Excel, MS Project. Good understanding of "CMMS", materials, tools and equipment in maintenance activities will be advantage
  • Demonstrated critical leadership behaviors
