High Level Job Description / Scope:


The Performance Management Enterprise Monitoring Team provides 24x7 real time monitoring of Server, Application, Database and Network infrastructures.  EMT performs event management, incident management, troubleshooting and infrastructure restorations. Uses monitoring products from Microsoft, Mir3, BMC, CA and others to provide monitoring and Level 1.5 support to a wide range of IT Business partners


Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:


  • Responsible for real time monitoring of Servers, Application, and Databases for a wide range of IT Partners within Chevron.
  • Performs event management, basic troubleshooting, incident management and infrastructure restorations to supported assets.
  • Identifies and documents operational gaps per operational level agreements.
  • Primary contact of IT Partners for technical activities such as monitoring requirements, technical documentations and trainings
  • Collaborate with Partner teams to enhance and improve service delivery  


Required Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, MIS, or other related courses.
  • Only fresh graduates are being considered.
  • Excellent in communication skills both written and oral
  • Flexible and can easily learn new technologies and processes.
  • Strong analytical, teamwork and customer engagement skills
  • Enjoys working with people of diverse cultural backgrounds
  • Willing to work on shifting schedule for a 24x7 operations
