Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:

 

  • Partner with Immigration and Secondment Advisor to provide strategic solutions to complex immigration issues including alternatives to all stakeholders as it relates to Global Immigration.
  • Oversee, partner and coordinate with host country HR and immigration vendors to facilitate efficient processing of Global work visas.
  • Partner with BU HR Business Partner and/or management to ensure visa issuance timing consistent with business need.
  • Provide training as needed to various client groups to educate the business on Global visa processing.
  • Provide Global Visa Assessment and guidance prior to hiring or expatriate assignments.
  • Provide assessment and guidance prior to hiring or expatriate assignments.
  • Partner with HR Business Partners, hiring managers, employees and supervisors to keep them informed of changes in immigration laws, visa timeframes, and possible roadblocks.

 

Required Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree graduate, preferably in HR, Business or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, with strong background in customer support
  • Seasoned Global Mobility Specialist and/or Immigration practitioner with in depth understanding of global mobility and immigration policies and procedures. Global experience is preferred
  • Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to multi-task
  • Demonstrated ability to identify issues and provide solutions
  • Can quickly build relationships to ensure collaboration with expatriates, management, HR partners and vendors
  • Ability to design, implement or roll-out initiatives or processes requiring collaboration and leveraging resources across organizations and numerous stakeholders
  • Demonstrated strong verbal, written and presentation skills

 

Relocation Options:
 

  • Relocation will not be considered within Chevron parameters.


International Considerations:

 

  • Selected candidates will work in Philippines under the local payroll system and benefits.
