HR Associate - Global Mobility  located in Makati City, Philippines through April 03, 2017 at 11:59 p.m.

 

 

Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:

 

Expatriate Administration

  • Job Offer generation
  • Prepares assignment letters and compensation sheets for new and transferring expatriates, and prepares repatriation letters for repatriating expatriates 
  • Coordinates directly with the sponsor group or request initiator on missing/pertinent information that are required in the job offer preparation.
  • Ensures that expatriate job offer package prepared are accurate and consistent with policy. 
  • Forwards the offer package directly to the sponsor group or the request initiator.
  • Updates the Expatriate Job Offer Database to ensure that job offers prepared are accurately and timely recorded.
  • Monitors offer reports to ensure that all offers are processed timely and accurately, and participates in any investigation for offers falling outside of accepted processing time.
  • Maintains expatriate e-files to ensure all pertinent assignment information are accurately filed (i.e., job offer package, Job offer template, correspondence, etc.).
  • For PH-hosted, assists in relocation by providing orientation to the expats on policies pertinent to relocation, coordinates with various providers for the expat’s shipment and storage, visa and work permits, interim living, language/cultural orientation, tax orientation, housing, school and transportation requirements, etc.  Provides other assistance as may be required by the expats and their families.  Processes invoices and reimbursements relating to relocation, educational expenses, interim living and other expatriate-related benefits.

 

Data Administration

  • Transfer processing – Processes expatriate transfers for all assigned, active assignments.  This includes understanding the payroll schedule and cut-off dates of all the population being handled, verifying validity of position ID numbers , and updating SAP and Global Advantage (GA) systems with appropriate data.
  • Data maintenance in GA and SAP – Creates and maintains expatriate records throughout the assignment to ensure all assignment, organizational,  and/or life event changes are accurately reflected in the systems.   This includes, but is not limited to turning on and off assignments, submitting HRIM Expat requests and GA IHR requests, and amending data, as required.
  • Inputs periodic payments in Global Advantage for capture in the expatriate’s payroll.
  • Coordinates with GA SuperUser  and US vendor liaison on new allowance tables, system access, etc.

 

Process Improvements

  • Reviews processes and implements process improvements to ensure work efficiency.

 

Customer Centric

  • Coordinates with Assignee Counselors, Home and Host country HR staff, payroll and providers to ensure seamless delivery of expatriate services.
  • Understands and articulates philosophy and intent of expatriate policies and processes.  Responds to payroll and Global Expatriate Administration (GEA) policy inquiries.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor''s Degree in Psychology or any business related course
  • At least 3 -5 years experience in any Human Resources function
  • Experience in HR Global Mobility is a plus
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical, teamwork and customer engagement skills
  • With keen attention to detail
  • Must have the propensity to work in a proactive, results-oriented, and customer-focused environment
  • Enjoys working with people of diverse cultural backgrounds.
  • SAP background is a plus.


Relocation Options:

  • Relocation will not be considered within Chevron parameters.


International Considerations:

  • Selected candidate will work in Philippines under the local payroll system and benefits.
